POSITION SUMMARY
The scope of work for this position includes a wide range of
responsibilities to support the Corporate Accounting team. Tasks
include, but are not limited to, data entry within our AP systems,
monitoring and managing expense transactions, reconciling
accounting activity, and preparing journal vouchers. The intern
will work to support the team with day-to-day tasks and project
work.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintain vendor records, including creating new vendors profiles,
establishing payment methods, managing change requests, and
reviewing all vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and complete
information.
Manage AP system updates such as expense approval limits, hierarchy
tables, user changes, and approval workflows.
Review employee expense reports, monitor account delinquencies, and
assist with credit card service administration.
Provide accounts payable support to vendors to ensure good working
relationship and acknowledge queries. Assist in opening and
organizing mail, as well as handling and processing of emails for
the accounts payable unit.
Monitor vendor payments for returns or rejections and support
periodic cash and accounts payable reconciliations.
Assist with audit requests to ensure compliance with established
internal control procedures.
Provide support for various team projects and processes that may
involve a wide range of organizational and administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Progress towards Bachelor's Degree or MBA
0-1 years of experience in accounting or finance
Microsoft Office and computer skills preferred
Must be able to work in a team environment
Driven/self-starter

BorgWarner Emissions Tralee Safety Policy Manual. This individual
will work in a manner that stresses the importance of preventing
accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution
reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of
themselves and co-workers. In addition, he/she is responsible for
reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations,
incidents, or occurrences to their immediate supervisor.
