Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to lead
the FP&A and Rythm of business for AWS Connect ($1B ARR). This
role works across the Connect as well as AAIS Finance organization
to drive the financial reporting and and business insights into
performance, lead the close processes, and drive process
improvements across the organization. The successful candidate will
be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time
sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along
with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also
possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate
effectively with key stakeholders. Key job responsibilities -
Manage and develop the financial analysis processes for reporting
on AWS Connect financials - Revenue, down to Operating Profit and
Margin. - Partner with and proactively communicate across the
finance community to coordinate a complex and interconnected series
of deliverables. - Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various
requests from finance executives. - Identify opportunities for
efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with
upstream and downstream organizations. - Partner with finance teams
across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements,
remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of
reporting. - Write and present narratives and analysis of AWS
Infrastructure capital and operating expenditures to senior
leadership. - Lead financial controllership for AWS Connect - Raise
the bar on hiring, developing, and retaining the best talent to
continue building our world class team of finance professional. - 8
years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 3
years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
experience - 5 years of directly managing and leading a team of 5
members experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting,
Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g.,
Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) - 6 years of participating
in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and
improve controllership with measurable results experience - 6 years
of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root
cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6
years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members
experience - 3 years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite)
experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and
reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Essbase or Cognos) and
providing recommendations based on results of ad hoc analyses to
management for strategic decision-making - MBA, or CPA - 6 years of
building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform
business decision-making experience - 6 years of creating process
improvements with automation and analysis experience Amazon is an

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
