Solomon Park Research Labs (SPRL) seeks an Administrative
Assistant/Donor Coordinator for the donor center located in Burien,
WA. Punctuality, organizational, and excellent customer service
skills are crucial for this position. This is a great growth
position for those looking to go into the life/bioscience
industry.
WHO WE ARESPRL is a blood manufacturing company that has been
supplying laboratories across the globe since 1984. Within these
blood products creates whole blood, serum, plasma, etc. that are
used as lab quality controls to develop standards and proficiency
testing materials for laboratories.
DUTIES & RESPONDIBILITIESAdministrative Assistant
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails and redirect as
needed for donors, sales, etc.
- Receive and provide front office hospitality to incoming donors
and guests
- Maintain a presentable front office space
- Utilize Zoho projects and Microsoft Office for task
organization with production needs
- Social media management using Zoho and collaborating with
IT
- Purchasing for all phlebotomy related and donor related
supplies
- Recording small blood sales orders
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding of employees
- Monitor and distribute all incoming physical mail at SPRL
- Makes the appropriate data entry in The Lean Machine software
according to released procedures.
- Attend After Action, Production, and other scheduled meetings
as requested.Donor Coordinator
- Scheduling/Recruiting donors for draws and processing to meet
production schedule using 10 to 8 scheduling platform
- Collaborate with team members regarding donor needs for lab
operations and production
- Creating and preparing donor schedule and donor checks for next
day draws for phlebotomists
- Depositing physical checks for SPRL accounts
- Maintaining up to date information for donors health
information in the donor database
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1-2 years in an office or lab environment with a
demonstrated ability to work independently handling complex
projects, as well as prioritizing and multitasking
- Current Phlebotomy License is a plus
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office and data
entry software
- Professional appearance
- Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and
resourcefulness
- Solid organizational skills, follow up, and high attention to
details
- Self-confidence and discretion to handle sensitive matters,
exercise independent solid judgment, and remain calm under
pressure
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced
environment.
- Must be excellent at communication interpersonally, verbally,
and written, as well as have the ability work well with
others.
- Must understand that in some instances difficult decisions are
necessary for the improvement of the organization.
- Received COVID-19 Vaccination and can provide proof
