As an HVAC Retrofit Installation Lead Technician , you will help us live out our Vision & Mission and meet our growth-oriented goals as the premier heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing service provider in Northwest Washington. At Barron, an HVAC Retrofit Installation Lead Technician will: Support Barron’s AOR focused initiative to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Support scheduling, installation, and quality control best practices for Barron’s HVAC Retrofit Team Provide guidance and leadership to the HVAC Retrofit team members Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement, striving to meet or exceed individual KPIs Review project controls and commissioning requirements Ensure that installations are 100% in compliance with all company, local, state, and federal codes Assist in the development of HVAC Retrofit Technicians by providing training and mentoring Lead HVAC Retrofit Technicians in and model proficient use of ServiceTitan while ensuring departmental technicians follow Barron ServiceTitan processes (timecards, material, information/notes etc.) Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–75 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance or equipment Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight or overhead spaces Willingness to travel to accommodate all Barron service areas Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50-75 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance or equipment Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight or overhead spaces Meet and exceed individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Maintain a neat, clean and organized vehicle Maintain a Barron branded appearance per company policy (e.g., clean, branded uniform) Attend all Company-wide and departmental meetings Collaborate and build strong working relationships across all departments Exhibit a “Team Barron” attitude Share Barron’s mission of Improving Lives™ An outstanding HVAC Retrofit Installation Lead Technician will have the following natural strengths & talents: Highly organized and reliable Strong leadership abilities Process-driven mindset Sound judgment and decision-making skills Committed to continued improvement Team player who collaborates effectively Experience & Qualifications: 5 years HVAC installation experience (required) 3 years of ventilation and commissioned experience (required) 3 years of furnace, heat pump, A/C and mini-split experience (required) 3 years of sheet metal installation experience (required) 2 years refrigeration experience (required) 1 year leadership experience (required) Active 06A Electrical License or Trainee Card (required) EPA 608 Technician Certification (preferred but not required) Nate Certification (preferred but not required) Valid Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record Pre-Employment Drug Screening High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Compensation: Full-Time $24.50-$43.50 per hour; DOE Performance Pay Commissions from 6% to 11%; DOE Barron Provides: 100% employer paid medical, dental & vision plans for employee Eligible dependents may be covered through pre-tax payroll deduction Paid holidays and vacation 401k matching program Employee discounts on services Company sponsored events and team building Barron Apparel/Uniforms A culture of collaboration, sharing of knowledge and respect for one another When applying please upload: Resume Cover Letter and include: Which of our 5 Core Values resonates with you most, and why Why you believe you are the best candidate to join the Barron Team During the Hiring Process, our Team will: (Please anticipate the process to take approximately 3-4 weeks) Review application materials and select qualified candidates Schedule an in-person interview with the Hiring Manager and a member of our People Operations & Culture team for candidates moving forward Contact 2-3 professional references provided by the candidate following a successful in-person interview Extend an offer of employment to the selected future Barron Team member Requirements:
