Assistant or Associate Professor of Counseling / Clinical
Director CMHC Program (Online)Department: College of Social and

FilledClassification: Faculty, Full-Time (Tenure Track)Essential
FunctionsFull-time (12-month), tenure-track faculty member within
the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences whose main
responsibilities are to guide students in clinical training and
teach graduate counseling courses primarily in Northwest
University's online Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health (CMHC)
Program. The Clinical Director provides oversight for the clinical
training process for CMHC students. Faculty members are also
expected to fully participate in university life including
committee work and other institution activities.Qualifications
- Has a Ph.D., Ed.D., or Candidacy Status in Counseling Education
from a CACREP accredited program.
- Possesses a deep, personal commitment to Jesus Christ, a
Spirit-filled life, and demonstrates integration of faith and
learning.
- Licensed as a LMHC in Washington State (or is license eligible
in Washington State).
- Has had successful teaching experience at the university
level.
- Preferred knowledge about state licensure standards for
LMHC.
- Knowledgeable about CACREP standards preferred.
- Is committed to establishing and maintaining positive mentoring
relationships with a diverse student body.
- Is committed to establishing and maintaining positive
relationships with faculty, staff, and the general constituency of
Northwest University.

based upon the established faculty salary schedule starting at the
