Responsibilities include reverse engineering exploits, analyzing vulnerabilities, creating tools to find security bugs, and collaborating with engineering teams on software issues. The role requires strong technical skills and an enthusiastic drive to secure systems by demonstrating how they can be broken.Minimum Qualifications

• Triaging, analyzing, and investigating security issues reported to Apple.
• Analyzing issues and using available data to discover new and related security vulnerabilities.
• Mentoring engineering teams on mitigations against emerging threats.Preferred Qualifications
  • Providing security design consulting to other teams.
  • Experience developing fuzzers and automated vulnerability-finding tools.
  • Proficiency in assembly languages.
  • Designing and architecting systems with security in mind.Compensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is $135,400 to $250,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
