Kirkland is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Shop
Assistant to support daily production activities in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment. This hands-on role assists machinists
with light machine operations, deburring, and general shop upkeep
while ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is motivated, team-focused, and eager to learn
basic CNC Lathe and Swiss Screw machine operations. This is a great
opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in precision
manufacturing. LOCATION: Redmond, WA SCHEDULE: 330am –2pm monday –
thursday PAY: $19 - $24 BENEFITS OFFERED: Paid Weekly, Direct

Opportunities Key Responsibilities: ·Support machinists with light
machine operation duties, including push-button functions,
monitoring equipment, and training on basic CNC Lathe and Swiss
Screw machine operations. ·Perform deburring using hand tools and
small power tools to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material
from machined components. ·Maintain a clean and organized work area
and complete routine machine and tool upkeep, including sweeping
floors, cleaning oil spills, draining coolant, and emptying chip
barrels. ·Ensure accurate and timely completion of job
documentation, including part counts and tie-in details. ·Apply
Lean and continuous improvement practices to reduce waste, minimize
safety risks, and enhance product quality. ·Follow all established
safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications: ·Prior deburring experience preferred, training
available for the right candidate. ·Basic familiarity with
inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. ·Ability to
perform intermediate math calculations, including addition,
subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. ·Ability to
read and interpret work orders, blueprints, internal and customer
specifications, manuals, and safety guidelines. ·Strong attention
to detail. ·Self-motivated with the ability to meet production
timelines. ·Ability to work effectively and communicate within a
