or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in
software development. 5 years of experience leading ML design and
optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model
evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning). 5 years of
experience testing, and launching software products. 3 years of
experience with software design and architecture. Preferred
qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer
Science, or a related technical field. 8 years of experience with
data structures and algorithms. 3 years of experience working in an
organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business
projects. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role

BigQuery is a serverless, massive scale, and multi-engine data
analytics platform. It supports a wide range of data analytics use
cases including reporting, business intelligence, data pipelines,
and data marts and is used across nearly all enterprise sectors

thousand customers and store Exabytes of data. In this role you
will be responsible for delivering the platform used by BQ's
engineers to validate and release the product, along with
developing production systems to mitigate and prevent customer

full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Analyze representative customer and test
workflows, ensuring appropriate workflow coverage. Design tooling
responsible for categorization and forecasting of cloud capacity
needs across growing test infrastructure. Apply machine learning
(ML) strategies to right-size test pools based on demand and
capacity while predicting demand spikes. Build artificial
intelligence (AI) agents, tools, and skills that help influence
Gemini to solve BigQuery problems. Own the technical goal, scoping,
and outcomes for artificial intelligence/machine learning
(AI/ML)-driven infrastructure projects, proactively identifying
scaling bottlenecks and future work.
