Job Description:

on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose: Conduct analysis,
pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes. Provide
expertise and technical support in matters related to the
successful and financially sounds operations of the company's
health plan businesses.--- Apply knowledge of mathematics,
probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to
calculate financial outcomes.--- Negotiate capitation rates with
State agencies--- Oversee health plan experience, identify trends
and recommend improvements--- Research and identify new business
opportunities--- Work with Health Plans to ensure soundness of
capitation rates--- Work with State agencies to assess impact of
program/policy changesAdditional Preferences/Experience:---
Delivers insights and creates analytics capabilities that will
enable the organization to succeed in value-based arrangements---
Develops financial models to assess risk and support value based
strategies in provider contracts--- Evaluates performance of
value-based contracts, drivers of that performance, and identifies
actionable opportunities for improvement to leadership, clinical
operations and the network team.--- Evaluates contract proposals
and supports negotiations to support managed care contracting
efforts--- Perform financial reconciliations and make
recommendations regarding reinsurance levels and attribution
methodologies.--- Perform other analytic duties as
neededEducation/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
experience. 5+ years of actuarial experience.
License/Certification: Fellow or Associate of the Society of
Actuaries (or equivalent international certification). Member of
American Academy of Actuaries (or equivalent international
membership).Position is available for remote opportunity anywhere
within the U.S. with the expectation to travel to Seattle/Tacoma
area 1x/quarter (-10% travel).Pay Range: $123,800-- - $228,900This
information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this
position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may
vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an
individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related
factors permitted by law. The employee may be eligible for bonuses
and other forms of compensation.Regular, full-time employees (and
their eligible dependents) are eligible for medical, dental,
vision, Employee Assistance Program, basic and optional life
