Summary:
The Lease Credit Manager monitors and reviews the lease portfolio and ensures Lease Credit Analysts make sound credit decisions while providing excellent customer service with our dealership partners. Evaluates the performance of lease credit personnel and provides coaching and feedback. Reviews recommendations for approvals, conditional approvals and declines. Monitors work queue and reports to ensure responses are issued within established service level parameters. Coordinates training with Lease Credit Analysts, Dealer Relationship Managers and the Funding Department to provide exceptional service to our dealer customer. Performs annual reviews and handles other supervisory administrative functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors and reviews work of Lease Credit Analysts including credit decisioning, dealer calls and provides feedback and training as needed.
• Observes daily work queues and sets priorities relative to phone calls and production to ensure optimal service levels and turnaround times are achieved.
• Periodically reviews and evaluates credit reports and credit data to determine the degree of risk in extending credit.
• Applies credit policies in accordance with company procedures, credit approval authorities, FCRA and Reg M.
• Utilizes phone and fax as well as web based and internal tools to complete verifications as deemed necessary.
• Manages exceptions to published credit authority, using judgment and experience to produce risk outcomes within company expectations.
• Completes final disposition on credit applications, or forwards to appropriate level of authority for final disposition.
• Communicates application outcomes to dealers via appropriate means, and as time permits, follows up with calls to solicit said business.
• Makes outbound and handles inbound calls to negotiate final terms of contracts with both our dealer customer and the Dealer Relationship Manager.
• Participates in targeted outbound call campaigns, as time permits, in coordination with Dealer Relationship Managers in an effort to cultivate long-term dealer relationships.
• Works directly with the Funding Departments and Dealer Relationship Managers to resolve credit and verification issues that arise in funding.
• Utilizes daily reports and other data, as provided, to support the Dealer Relationship Manager in training and managing SFS relationship with our dealer customer.
• Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth. It is the Lease Credit Manager's responsibility to ensure this information is safeguarded.
  Additional Responsibilities:
  Perform the above-referenced essential duties and responsibilities as well as assist in directing the work of employees assigned to the department by leading and overseeing their day-to-day activities and work schedules and by providing work-related guidance in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. Although this position shall provide the authority to lead, oversee and direct the day-to-day work of assigned employees and to report work assessments to management, it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions: hire an employee, fire an employee, or alter benefits of an employee. All such decisions shall be made by the responsible Senior Manager(s) in consultation with the Human Resources Department.
  Qualifications:

  Education and/or Experience:
  Three to five years' auto finance industry experience as a Sr. Credit Analyst or similar position. Background in Lease or Captive experience preferred. Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field preferred. Internal candidates must have previous underwriting experience with Stellantis Financial Services.
  Skills:
  Strong verbal, mathematical, reasoning ability, computer, problem solving, interpersonal, written communication, business acumen and sound judgement skills.
