Job Description:
The Cardiovascular ICU at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk,
VA is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for a temporary night
shift position in a 20-bed unit. Nurses care for 1-2 critically ill
patients post-open heart surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs,
aneurysm repair, TAVR, ablations, heart transplants, and devices
like ECMO and Total Artificial Heart. The role involves intensive
hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, multiple drug
infusions, IABP therapy, and CRRT. Requirements include an
Associate--------s, Bachelor--------s, Master--------s, or diploma
in Nursing, a Virginia or Compact Multi-State License, BLS, and
ACLS certifications. Candidates must have at least two years of
recent Cardiac ICU experience to qualify.
The position offers $70/hour.
