Job Description:
About the Role: We seek a dedicated Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform independent medical
assessments for U.S. Veterans, focusing on objective evaluations
without providing treatment.
Review veterans' medical records via a secure online portal.
Conduct thorough assessments to document current health
conditions.
Complete VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
accurately and submit within 24 hours.
Assess up to four veterans daily, with a schedule of 2 in-person
days per week and additional telehealth options.
Ideal candidates are motivated, detail-oriented, proficient in
digital record review, and committed to serving veterans.
Requirements: Active MD or DO license in PM&R, board
certification or relevant residency, strong data analysis skills,
and excellent attention to detail.
