Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Edmonds, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,064 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Edmonds, Washington, 98026! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in NICU License: Current WA license or Compact license if applicable Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience Patient ratio experience Description: All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All facilities honor active compact licenses. NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they already have the skill/competencies. Unit Information includes Level II NICU admissions and normal newborn care for infants 32 weeks or greater. Responsibilities include attending vaginal and cesarean deliveries, managing CPAP/BiPAP, and utilizing feeding tubes and syringe pumps. Travel nurses will attend all deliveries and high-risk deliveries. Skills required include attending high-risk deliveries, NICU II, feeding (bottle, breast, gavage), and placement/management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes. Neonatal dosage calculations and ventilator management experience are essential. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be aware of local costs of living.
