Your responsibilities
Summary of Position:To accurately provide inventory information for company-controlled material stock. Monitor,organize, and maintain inventory of company products at multiple branch locations.Key Accountabilities:* Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations or direct fromthe mill* Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support productionrequirements* Operate material handling equipment as necessary to support the movement of material* Perform accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management systemregarding material movements* Prepare and maintain appropriate inventory identification tags* Complete material consolidation tasks, including supermarket* Identify material shortages and issues, and communicate to appropriate staff* Perform verification of scrap* Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work* Assist the quality assurance team in activities related to credits* Perform equipment preventative maintenance and clean up* Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiativesand requirements* Meet all other TKMNA employee attributes and competenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performanceof this job. Your profile
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)* Ability to read, write, speak, understand English and perform basic math problems* Basic computer skills for data entry into an inventory management system* Ability to use a tape measure and calipers for material inspection/measurement* Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in written work and data entry* Certification to operate material handling equipment, examples include forklift, side loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry-pickerPreferred requirements:* Some college course work, leading toward completion of degree* 3 years of material control or inventory experience* Previous experience safely operating a variety of material handling equipment (forklift,side-loader, etc.
