Job Description:

An Anaplan Technical Lead is responsible for the technical direction and implementation of Anaplan solutions within an organization. They translate business needs into technical specifications, develop and maintain Anaplan models, and provide technical support and guidance to users. They also play a key role in ensuring the system is up to date and meets the evolving needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities of an Anaplan Technical Lead:


Model Development and Maintenance:
Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models to support various planning and forecasting processes.








Data Management:
Ensure data integrity, monitor data flows, and implement data integrations.








Technical Support:
Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions.








Stakeholder Communication:
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with stakeholders.








Change Management:
Support the implementation of change requests and ensure the system is fit for business needs.








Mentorship and Training:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including hands-on training to new users.








Performance Optimization:
Monitor and enhance the performance of Anaplan models, and implement improvements based on user feedback.








Project Leadership:
Lead the architectural design and development of enhancements to Anaplan models, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.











Skills and Experience:


Anaplan Expertise: Proven experience in Anaplan modeling, data analysis, and implementation.




Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a good understanding of data integration and system administration.




FP&A Knowledge: Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) is often beneficial.




Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor others.




Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the system is up to date and functioning optimally.
