We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes, OpenSearch, and operating systems to join our dynamic, innovative team. You will work alongside software, network, and systems engineers to design, implement, and deploy scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements and operate reliably in highly available environments.

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications and systems with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement ELT processes to manage complex data workflows effectively.
  • Integrate and manage OpenSearch solutions to provide efficient data indexing and search capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network and system engineers for seamless system integration.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to ensure high availability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding best practices and documentation.
  • Understand system protocols, data flows, and dependencies to independently develop full software stacks.
  • Support engineering projects with testing, inspections, and reporting; supervise junior engineers as needed.
  • Contribute to technical leadership by continuously learning and applying emerging technologies.
  • Document system designs, business requirements, and technical specifications clearly.
  • Present new ideas and review current processes to drive innovation and process improvements.Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 2-4 years of technical engineering experience, including Java development.
    • Proven experience designing and implementing ELT data workflows.
    • Hands-on experience with OpenSearch integration and management.
    • Strong proficiency with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
    • Knowledge of operations (Ops) and system administration concepts.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience writing technical documentation and collaborating in cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
      • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
      • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
      • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python or Perl.
      • Experience working with databases and SQL (Oracle, MySQL).--- At least 18 years of age

        Base Pay Range: $92,500 - $166,800Corporate Bonus Target: 15%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role.
