Job Description:

The Rural Mail Carrier Associate delivers mail and packages along designated rural routes. This role supports the postal service's overall function by ensuring timely and accurate mail delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction, and adhering to safety protocols. Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery on assigned routes. Deliver mail using a government-provided vehicle, ensuring all items reach their intended recipients. Collect outgoing mail and packages from customers on the route. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation. Assist in maintaining the vehicle and ensuring its cleanliness and operability. Provide exceptional customer service and address any recipient inquiries or issues. Support other delivery and mail-handling operations as needed. Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal communication skills for customer interactions. Basic computer skills to manage delivery records and reports. Applicants must have at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger.
