Job Description:

Material Handler / Forklift Operator FULL-TIME $18.60/hr Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis. Operates a lift truck all shift. Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refer defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance. Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transports materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas. Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material. Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas. Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices. $18.60/HR paid after 90 day probation period. $17.00/HR Starting Pay during probation period. Overtime as needed (overtime issued daily depending on volume) SEA-01 WS-01 WS-LC Schedule Shift start: 1:00PM Shift length: 8 - 12 hours Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays Benefits
