JOB SUMMARY Skills Inc. is seeking an experienced Vocational
Services Coordinator to join our Vocational Program Team. The ideal
candidate will create strong stakeholder relationships while
supervising and supporting contracted Vocational Program
participants. The Vocational Services Coordinator will assess,
place, evaluate and report on participant---s skills while
overseeing them at Skills Inc. located in Auburn, WA. Programs
participants are referred by the Division of Vocational
Rehabilitation (DVR), Foundational Community Supports (FCS), and
within the Skill Inc. Aerospace Internship Program (AIP). ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Actively outreach to external partners
to identify candidates for referral to vocational services at
Skills Inc; building and managing the Skills Inc. training
pipeline. Build and maintain exceptional working relationships with
Skills Inc. Leadership, Plant Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and
Vocational Program team members to identify work areas for client
training/internships on shop floor. Provide tours of Skills Inc.
operations to potential clients, DVR staff and other stakeholders.
Attend Intake and Outcome meetings with client and contractor.
Perform one-to-one client intakes and facilitates placement and
service provision for clients. Collaborate with Skills Inc. Human
Resources to ensure efficient client onboarding; including
completion of pre-employment screening and orientation once
determined eligible for services. Outreach for participant
placement on floor and plan creation in accordance to assessment
and Service Delivery Plan (SDOP). Manages, coordinate and
communicate schedules for all clients. Assist supervisors and leads
with any client accommodation or accessibility needs. Train,
coordinate and evaluate participants (and students as directed).
Track participant progress to meet individual development goals
aligned with DVR Service Delivery Outcome Plan (SDOP). Provide
on-the-job training and schedule classroom instruction for clients.
Gather and incorporate inputs from production staff on
participant---s performance. Evaluate and report on client's
performance to HR, Vocational team and DVR. Accurately updates,
maintains and reports progress. Complete Service Delivery Reports
(SDOR) monthly and at end of service. Accurately create and
maintain Vocational client personnel folders. Document progress
notes and use standardized case management tools using Standard
Operating Procedures. Make recommendations to resolve vocational
disputes; communicate any challenges immediately. Determine if
client is eligible for employment/direct hire or referral for
continued services. Create and manage invoicing of participant
contracts. Provide weekly Status Report to Immediate Supervisor of
record. Work closely with AIP & Vocational team to maintain
continuity in program service delivery. Evaluate and report client
and student progress and performance. Identify opportunities for
process improvement and increased efficiencies. Understand and
practice lean principles. Follow work rules and standard safety
regulations at all times. Attend monthly, weekly and quarterly
meetings. Other duties as assigned. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge or experience working in an inclusive work environment,
particularly with persons with disabilities within employment
services; or strong desire to learn. Excellent interpersonal and
intrapersonal skills, team oriented, and ability to work well with
a wide variety of personalities, learning styles and abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to disseminate and share
information. Excellent organizational skills and ability to
multi-task. Up-to-date MS Office experience. Advanced computer
literacy in Windows environment including MS Office experience.
Knowledge of recordkeeping / case notes. Conflict resolution
skills- ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts,
and draw valid conclusions. Ability to travel between Skills Inc.
campuses and to meetings around Puget Sound. Willingness to take on
responsibilities and challenges. Ability to follow written and
verbal instructions. PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor---s
degree in human services or business related field preferred 2-5
years working in an inclusive work environment to include persons
with disabilities preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to communicate
in English through voice, or American Sign Language or adaptive
technology. Ability to read, write, communicate and/or follow
written and verbal instructions in English. CONFIDENTIALITY The
