serve persons with disabilities and our community. JOB SUMMARY As
part of our recent growth, we are seeking a Light Assembly to join
our team. The ideal candidate is expected to assemble, package, and
process parts to meet external customer needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITES --- Track work using computer barcode system. ---
Follow direction given by supervisor to complete work. --- Assemble
or disassemble parts or products as directed by supervisor or work
order. --- Prepare and package parts as directly by supervisor or
work order. --- Develop constructive and cooperative working
relationships with others and maintain them over time. --- Identify
opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. ---
Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times. ---
Maintain safe working practice---s and insure area is clean and
free of any possible unsafe situations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
--- Knowledge or experience working in an inclusive work
environment, particularly those persons with disabilities. ---
Ability to identify, organize, estimate and recognize differences
or similarities --- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
using whole numbers --- Ability to deal with a wide variety of
personalities and communication styles --- Ability to count parts,
recognize on paperwork when counts are wrong, and notify the
supervisor when the number of parts does not match the paperwork.
--- Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision. ---
Ability to recognize when jobs are not being completed correctly.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, write, communicate and/or follow
written and verbal instructions in English. --- Ability to
communicate in English through voice, or American Sign Language or
