BoeingCommercial Airplanes (BCA)is seeking an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist (Data Analysis Level 3) to join ourQuality team in Auburn, WA.

This position will support initiatives for our Fabrication Quality Management System improvement strategy and Division Quality Analysis team. This position requires proactive data analysis across the division, issue identification, describing and summarizing analysis, teaming, networking across MBUs, leadership, people, and problem-solving skills. Successful candidate will have the ability to implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving, data, and analysis to drive decisions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.
  • Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability.
  • Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval.
  • Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.
  • Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.
  • Collect, process, perform and report analysis, using existing data/information platforms; describes and summarizes data
  • Works under general direction.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

    If the successful candidate is not a "U.S. Person" (as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 "U.S. Person" includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees) and the position requires access to export-controlled data, an appropriate export authorization by the U.S. Government may be required prior to such access. Employment, and the continuity of employment of non-U.S. persons, is contingent upon the company's ability to secure and maintain the necessary export control authorization.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
    • 3+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
    • 3+ years of experience Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

      Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
      • Bachelor's Degree or higher
      • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, fabrication, quality or Manufacturing
      • 3+ experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment
      • 3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
      • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
      • Experience in a roll that required analytical skills

        Typical Education & Experience

        Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


        This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
