Job Description:

The Safety Administrator is responsible for quality and accurate customer service within the Safety department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
--- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Safety Dept and its representatives
--- Maintain and monitor spill logs
--- Maintain and monitor DOT Inspections files and CSA data via FMCSA Portal
--- Maintain and monitor outstanding California scale/vehicle citations
--- Compile and record accidents and incidents and maintain company register
--- Monitor Verizon Portal information including managing the company hierarchy, unassigned driving as well fleet assignments and telemetry concerns
--- Maintain/Update employee certifications, CDL/DOT Records including Medical exams, Complete work as directed.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
--- Ability to read, write and converse in English (this includes reading and comprehending of governmental rules and regulations ranging from DOT to OSHA entities)
--- Phone/Customer Services skills
--- Ability to change priorities and focus with little to no notice
--- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality on HR and Internal matters
--- Ability to work successfully across the organization and resolve issues.
--- Basic PC proficiency and experience using MS Office products. AS400 experience preferred but not required.
--- H.S. diploma or GED/equivalent.
