Description:The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections on composite aerospace parts for conformance to customer engineering specifications, while adhering to Nadcap and AS9100 system requirements. The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures company-wide conformance to department policies, procedures, and objectives, while providing "boots on the ground" support for continuous improvement objectives, and safety/environmental control standards.--- Ensure adherence to customer requirement and industry-wide standards (i.e. NADCAP and AS9100) at all times--- Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g. scales, calipers, micrometers) properly--- Inspect the many phases of composite manufacturing of aerospace parts to ensure conformity--- Document part nonconformance and generate nonconformance reports--- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare inspection reports per AS9102--- Other duties as assignedSkills:Quality control, Quality assurance, Inspection, Calipers, Visual inspection, first article inspection, Micrometer, Scales, Quality inspection, Blueprint, Cmm, Final inspectionTop Skills Details:Quality control,Quality assurance,Inspection,Calipers,Visual inspection,first article inspection,Micrometer,Scales,Quality inspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:--- High School Diploma or equivalent--- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance (aerospace preferred)--- Knowledge of NADCAP and AS9100 standards preferredExperience Level:Intermediate Level About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
