Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineers - Airplane Level Engineering Integrations to support our team in Everett, WA. -The SE&I team is a division of the Airplane Level Engineering Integration (ALEI) Organization within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). -Our team is actively engaged with airplane programs that currently include 737-10 MAX, 777-9, 777-8 Freighter, and future product development programs.The successful candidate will have experience with one or more of the following; system integration and testing, model-based systems engineering, mission analysis / CONOPS, functional analysis & integration, interface control, safety and certification, risk/issue/opportunity management, and change & configuration management.Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development, and verification of a lifecycle-balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Assists with analyses to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Assists with various analyses to optimize the total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Assists with analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): -
      • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
      • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
      • 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceTypical Education & Experience:Mid-Level (3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Senior Level (4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Senior Level (5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
