We are pipelining candidates for a future role***Contingent upon Contract Award*** Valiant is seeking a Production Control Clerk for W-TRSPotential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locationsEssential job duties include but are not limited to: --- Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard--- Sorting or weighing incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoiceResponsibilities: --- Examining stock to verify conformance to specifications--- Storing articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material--- Filling orders or issues supplies from stock--- Preparing periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders--- Compiling reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments--- Document all logistics actions (inventories, transfers, etc.) by inputting data into the ISTS--- All other duties as assigned by managementMental/Physical requirements for this role include: --- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbsand wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate--- Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height--- Willing to work a flexible workweek--- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges--- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation--- This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUSBasic Qualifications: --- High school graduate or equivalent--- 1 - 2 years of experience as a stock clerk or shipping/receiving clerk--- Proficient with basic computer systems including email and Microsoft Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time--- Strong customer service skills--- US citizenship is requiredPossess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearanceDesired Skills: Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
