Supervisor at our plant in Kent WA manufacturing facility. You will
report to the Maintenace Manager and join a team of 235 plus team
members.Job SummaryYou will oversee the maintenance department,
production lines and affiliated equipment, building and grounds.
Schedule work and personnel to meet production demands., maintain
the preventative maintenance system and work toward meeting the
plants safety and uptime goals. Control maintenance expenses by
monitoring overtime and parts expenses weekly.Maintain mechanical
integrity and equipment reliability programs to ensure employee
safety provide environmental security and maximize the plant's
availability, product quality, and cost effectiveness. Other
primary duties include ownership of the plant's PM/PdM activities;
leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement
prioritization; technical guidance of mechanical craftsmen; and
engineering support of maintenance and capital projects.Position
ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule work force for utilization of
employees.Monitor downtime occurrences to maintain
operations.Monitor the efficiencies of the production lines, paying
special attention for maintenance and mechanical trends.Train,
motivate and direct employees to adhere to safe work methods and
standardprocedures to ensure efficient utilization of
employees.Promote teamwork to achieve Our objectives.Maintain a
cooperative working relationship with USDA officials.Control labor
costs.Purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to
qualityControl departmental overtimeMonitor the machinery and
equipment to ensure safety of the employeesEnforce the plant's
safety program.Compliance to all OSHA safety regulations and
standardsMaintain equipment for efficient operation within
maintenance budget; operate within the constraint of the union
contract and USDA regulations.Seek continuous improvement in the
Maintenance Department employees and the efficiencies of the
production lines.Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive
maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis,
engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.Evaluate
PM/PDM activities and frequencies to ensure optimum use of
personnel and resources in maximizing equipment
reliability.Involves all associates in a team concept, keeping
personnel safety, food safety and uptime as the top
priorities.Position QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED
equivalent required, bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical
engineering or other technical degree program.3-5 years of previous
maintenance experiencePrevious supervisory experience required.Read
and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints,
schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence.Calculate
figures.Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Solve
practical problems.Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Experience with
Preventative Maintenance programs. Knowledge of Electronic and
Electrical principals.Experienced at writing: employee
appraisals/evaluations, Maintenance procedures and Job
Descriptions.CAD/Drafting experience desirable.Physical
RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, you are
required to talk and hear. You are frequently required to stand and
walk. You are occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger,
handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance;
stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. You must
occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
ability to adjust focus. You will be exposed to a noisy environment
that varies from hot to cold in temperature. The physical demands

$60,000.00 - $88,000.00The annual salary listed above is the
expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual
salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant
experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra
employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law
